Session Five - Blood Cougars and Whore Tunnels

Pharast 25 -

Iomedae, to you deal with Erastil often? It would seem that these beasts sent to us last night were something of a union of power between you. We have finally seen the blood cougar that Feng spoke of weeks ago. They are mighty and ferocious beasts, but we believe they will serve our cause well. Char and I disabled one of noble blood while the others among us brought down several more plebeian stock. Char and I both have great faith that these beasts are meant for better things in our new world order.

The consequences of our actions appear to by cyclical. When we bade the Sootscales work for us and mine the silver from the hills, we thought that the end of it. When Micmek was captured as a pickpocket at Oleg’s we saw that as a misunderstanding. But these events are all part of your greater plan, Iomedae. You sent Micmek to Oleg’s and detained him so that he might see the mighty blood cougar and in seeing them, offer to take them in and have them trained by his clansmen. Your plans are greater and wider than my understanding, and I prey that someday I can see but a glimpse of your majesty.

Another victim of the wretched Stag Lord has revealed himself. A man we can only call Nettle was slain by the villain of our tale and left for dead in the Shrike River. His evil has to be stopped and from this moment it is my focus and my challenge. The Stag Lord’s future has just been cut down to a matter of days.

We’ve found the merging of the rivers and from here it seems our lands end, but even at the southern most point of our granted territory, we’ve not found the Stag Lord. Tomorrow we continue south, beyond our boundaries, and seed out this filth where he hides. He is not beyond our reach.

I am honored to be accompanied by such noble and exalted men and women. None were honor bound to follow me into the southern marshes, and yet they all came without question. The Stag Lord will see his last sunrise, tomorrow.

He holds himself up in what looks like the ruin of an ancient keep, but even in it’s disrepair, we hadn’t a chance of breaching the walls. History and nobility, however, have taught me that even the basest of needs are seen to even amongst most noble of kings. To that end, we have located the underground passages for the quieting in of concubines. We’ve found the whore tunnel. Tomorrow, we breach the keep just before dawn when the bandits are already victim to their drink and debauchery. Tomorrow, we free this land of Speerspitze, from the tyranny of the Stag Lord.
